Cream Cheese Tortilla

These cream cheese tortilla appetizers, also known as pinwheels, roll-ups, and wraps, are very simple to make and sure to be a party favorite amongst guests for casual or formal occasions.

 

There are many fantastic recipes for tortilla cream cheese appetizers, also known as tortilla pinwheels or tortilla roll-ups, which are always well received by guests and devoured quickly. They are an easy to make cold appetizer and can often be made ahead of time for easy preparation.

 

Turkey Strawberry Wrap Roll-Ups

You Will Need:

Large tortillas
1 pound of sliced deli turkey breast
Green leaf lettuce
1 package of strawberry flavored cream cheese

Directions:

Spread a generous layer of the strawberry flavored cream cheese on the tortilla and top with leaf lettuce and several slices of the turkey breast. Roll as tightly as possible. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting. Use an electric knife if possible to cut the rolls into sections approximately 1 1/2 inch thick.

 

Roast Beef Roll-Ups

You Will Need:

1 pound of sliced deli roast beef
Large Tortillas
Leaf Lettuce
1 package cream cheese, softened (For more flavor, you may also use flavored cream cheese spreads, such as garlic or ranch)

Directions:

Spread cream cheese onto tortillas and layer lettuce and roast beef slices. Wrap as tightly as possible and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into 1 1/2 inch thick slices.

Shredded colby jack or cheddar cheese
2 chopped green onions
1 can chunk chicken, diced

Directions:

Mix cream cheese, olives, chilies, onions, shredded cheese, green onions, and chicken together until well blended. Spread generously onto tortillas and roll tightly. Wrap tightly with saran wrap and refrigerate at least two hours. Slice into 1 1/2 thick pinwheels. Garnish with parsley and serve with ranch dip or salsa.

 

Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

You Will Need:

1 package cream cheese, softened (Can use flavored cream cheeses for more variety/flavor)
1 pound of deli shaved (chipped) ham
1 8 oz package of shredded cheddar cheese (about 2 cups)
Large Tortillas
Leaf Lettuce

Directions:

Mix cream cheese and shredded cheese together. Spread generously onto tortillas and layer leaf lettuce and ham slices. Roll up tightly and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and slice into 1 1/2 inch slices.

 

Crabby Pinwheel Roll-Ups

You Will Need:

1 can crab meat, drained
1 package of cream cheese, softened
1 red bell pepper, chopped finely
1 green onion, chopped finely
Leaf Lettuce
Large Tortillas

Directions:

Combine crab meat, cream cheese, bell pepper, and green onion until blended through. Spread generously onto tortilla. Tightly wrap the tortilla and then cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or longer before cutting into slices.
